The primary difference is who prepares the article.
With the Contributor Package, you supply the complete, publication-ready article and supporting images.
With the Feature Package, the Newcastillian News team develops the story for you through interviews, research, article structure and professional copywriting.
Both packages include evergreen publication and supporting distribution across selected Newcastillian News digital channels.

No. Partner Content is a paid content service and is separate from Newcastillian News’ independent editorial reporting.
Purchasing Partner Content does not guarantee future news coverage, favourable reporting or influence over newsroom decisions.
Will the article be identified as paid Partner Content?
Yes. The article will be appropriately identified as Partner Content, sponsored content or a paid partnership so that readers can clearly distinguish it from independently commissioned editorial coverage.
This protects both the advertiser and the credibility of Newcastillian News.

Content made up only of slogans, exaggerated claims or aggressive sales language may need to be revised into a more informative and credible article format.
What must I supply for the Contributor Package?
You must provide:

- Your preferred headline or story angle
- Correct names, titles and business information
- Relevant photographs or graphics
- Captions and image credits
- Contact details
- Website or social media links
- Any necessary supporting documents
The article should be factually accurate, clearly written and ready for editorial review.
Will Newcastillian News edit my contributed article?
Yes. Contributor articles may be edited for spelling, grammar, clarity, structure, legal compliance and alignment with Newcastillian News’ publication standards.
Substantial rewriting or restructuring is not included in the Contributor Package and may require upgrading to the Feature Package or paying an additional editing fee.
How does the Feature Package process work?
After booking, our team will contact you to confirm the purpose, audience and main angle of the story.
We will then gather the required information through an interview, written briefing or supporting documentation. The article is professionally written, submitted for factual approval and prepared for publication.
Will I be able to approve the article before publication?
Yes. You will receive the article for factual review before it is published.
You may correct inaccurate names, dates, figures, product details or other factual information. Newcastillian News retains final control over the headline, structure, language and publication format.
Can I make unlimited changes?
Reasonable factual corrections and one consolidated round of amendments are generally accommodated.
Repeated changes, a completely new direction or substantial alterations after the original brief may attract an additional writing or administration fee.
Are photography and video production included?
Professional photography, videography and on-location production are not automatically included unless specifically stated in your quotation.
Clients should supply clear, high-quality images and the necessary permissions to publish them. Additional media production can be quoted separately where required.
What image quality is required?
Images should be clear, relevant and suitable for online publication.
Where possible, supply original high-resolution landscape photographs rather than screenshots, compressed WhatsApp images or graphics containing excessive text.
The client must have permission to use every photograph, logo or visual submitted.
How long will the article remain published?
Partner Content is evergreen, meaning it remains available on Newcastillian News after the initial promotional rollout has ended.
The article may be removed or amended where necessary for legal, regulatory, technical, reputational or editorial reasons, or where the information is later found to be inaccurate or misleading.
When will the social media posts be published?
The included posts are scheduled around the publication of the article and according to Newcastillian News’ content calendar.
Preferred dates may be requested, but publication timing remains subject to availability, approval and operational requirements.
Can I choose the exact publication date?
You may request a preferred publication date, particularly where the article relates to an event, opening, launch or deadline.
The date is only confirmed once payment, required information, interviews, images and final approval have been completed.
Can links be included in the article?
Yes. Relevant links may be included to your website, booking platform, enquiry form, online store or official social media page.
Newcastillian News may limit or remove links that are misleading, unsafe, excessive or unrelated to the article.
Will the article appear on Google?
The article will be published on the public Newcastillian News website and may be discovered or indexed by search engines.
However, search engine indexing, ranking positions and the number of visitors arriving through Google cannot be guaranteed.
Are views, enquiries or sales guaranteed?
No. Partner Content provides professional publication and defined promotional distribution, but it cannot guarantee a specific number of reads, enquiries, bookings or sales.
Performance will depend on factors such as the strength of the story, public interest, timing, relevance and the advertiser’s offer.
Can claims about my business be included?
Claims may be included where they are accurate, lawful and capable of being substantiated.
Newcastillian News may request supporting evidence for claims involving performance, awards, qualifications, health outcomes, financial returns, product superiority or other statements that could mislead readers.
Can Newcastillian News reject Partner Content?
Yes. Newcastillian News may reject, delay or request changes to content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, unsafe, factually unsupported or inconsistent with its publication standards.
Payment does not remove the requirement for editorial and advertising approval.
What happens if my supplied article is not suitable?
Our team will explain the main issues and advise whether the content can be corrected by the client or whether the Feature Package would be more appropriate.
Publication will only proceed once the article meets Newcastillian News’ standards.
All Partner Content is subject to approval and will be clearly identified as paid commercial content. Payment does not guarantee publication if the submitted information is false, misleading, unlawful, unsubstantiated, non-compliant or conflicts with Newcastillian News publishing standards. Partner Content does not influence independent editorial coverage or guarantee sales, leads, website traffic, search rankings or engagement.
